ption: Generating specialized hardware improves performance for various al
gorithms. The chair for embedded systems has developed a GNU Compiler Coll
ection (GCC) plug-in which generates hardware description code for unmodif
ied C loops and outsources the execution of these loops to an FPGA. To ena
ble memory access optimizations in the generated hardware code\, informati
on about the memory access patterns in the original C code needs to be ext
racted. The presented work implements a component for the plug-in which an
alyses the C code using GCC-provided tools and performs a compile- and run
-time alias analysis. The presentation will include an architectural overv
iew and a summary of the results and limitations of the current implementa
tion. Diese Veranstaltung wird unterstützt von <b>Professur für Eingebet
 tete Systeme</b>.
