- Beschreibung
- Although the linearized operator in the equation for perturbations of a steady flow V has an essential spectrum touching the imaginary axis, we show that the stability is determined just by the position of the eigenvalues, regardless the essential spectrum. No assumption on smallness of flow V is required.
