The talk will first give a brief overview of the research of the particle theory group, including recent progress on formal and theoretical aspects. The main part of the talk will then focus on ongoing work on phenomenological aspects of two specific scenarios for physics beyond the SM: the general two-Higgs doublet model, and the R-symmetric SUSY model MRSSM. In both cases there is a surprisingly rich interplay between various kinds of observables, which can be used to explore the possible/viable/interesting parameter space of the models.
In the two-Higgs doublet model, the observables in question are the muon g-2, B-decays, tau-decays, Higgs decays, non-SM Higgs searches, and Z-peak observables; in the MRSSM the relevant observables are g-2, mu->e conversion measured at COMET, Higgs mass and Higgs decays, dark matter, and LHC SUSY searches.- Links
