The first ever international conference on Environmental Non-Migration provides a forum for exchange and discussion on influencing factors and capacities of individuals, households and communities to stay put despite environmental threats. The focus is on conceptual frameworks, methodologies, case studies, and cross-cutting issues. The conference will first begin on the 19th of June at 7 PM with a panel discussion about the topic environmental non-migration, and end with a movie “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind”. Invited speakers and scientists will present their research during the participatory conference.
