Title: "The twists and turns of nephrogenesis, segment differentiation and cystic disease"

Abstract:

The mammalian kidney is wonderfully complex, both functionally and anatomically. We employ mouse models, iPSC-derived kidney organoids, molecular and cellular biology to study how this anatomical complexity arises during embryonic development, and how certain genetic diseases compromise kidney structure and function.
