Sodium batteries in all their varieties are the most promising alternative to Lithium cells. With the 4th International Sodium Battery Symposium (SBS4), taking place in Dresden from September 4 to 5, 2023, would like to promote discussion and knowledge exchange on all aspects of sodium-based batteries and thus contribute to joint progress and further public awareness. We cordially invite you to participate in the discussion with an oral presentation or poster or to present your products and services as an exhibitor or sponsor. The symposium will cover all aspects of Na-based batteries, from fundamentals and active materials through cell concepts up to systems, along with testing, markets and applications. Incumbent technologies will be discussed, such as ceramic Na batteries, as well as novel concepts based on low-temperature Na-ion conducting materials and intercalation electrodes. The SBS4 aims to strengthen the community around Na batteries and to enable an open exchange about current scientific results and research interests, but also about market requirements and to stimulate cooperations between the participants.
