Scientists aims to bring together young scientists\, mainly PhD students\,
working in the exciting fields of Materials Science\, Electronic Material
 s\, Quantum materials\, Nanoscale Materials\, Nanoanalysis\, Multi-scale m
 aterials characterization\, Computational material science\, AI-based mate
rials science as well as Microscopy. In 2026 the special focus will be
put on (i) all relevant techniques used for correlative materials characte
rization\; (ii) electronic materials and quantum materials\, as well as (i
ii) computational and AI-empowered material science. The contributions sha
ll cover all topics from fundamental research up to technology and product
development for the market. The School will be a two days live forum t
hat brings together presentations of the PhD works (oral and posters)\, in
tensive discussions\, and many opportunities for interaction and networkin
 g. The School will be organized in close cooperation with the 6th Corre
lative Materials Characterization workshop at Nov 25-26 and all young scie
ntists will be invited to attend the CMC.
