- Description
- I will present ongoing work aimed at relating movement and population dynamics. The main assumption is that animals allocate their time to different activities depending on both internal state and environmental conditions. These activities are in turn characterised by different movement and space use patterns which then feed back into the individual's condition. Individual condition affects survival and reproductive rates thus linking behaviour, movement and space use to population dynamics.
