Description
In this work we constraint the neutrino magnetic dipole moment and the axion-electron coupling constant by comparing the predicted bolometric luminosity of tip-RGB stellar models, for low-mass, stars with that of the brightest giants in the CMD of fifty globular clusters (including the most massive in the galaxy, Omega-Centauri). We briefly discuss the changes driven by non-standard energy losses on the internal and observable properties of stellar models, on the calibration of mass loss due non-dust driven winds and on post-RGB phases and present our constraints by analyzing the brightest member of each cluster, the statistical uncertainty due the low population on the last two magnitude bins and the error bars of our models due multiple physical ingredients.
