- Chemical transformation of existing inorganic nanostructures from one material into another represents a straightforward, and effective approach to nanomaterial synthesis. In this presentation, a facile aqueous solution based chemical transformation of cobalt based 1-D sacrificial template into 1-D structured cobalt chalcogenides is introduced, and their potential applications towards precious metal-free electrocatalyst in energy conversion technology are discussed.
