 the 7th ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics. The workshop aims at f
 acilitating the networking of young scientists and at promoting the exchan

  policies. Policy relevant contributions\, both theoretical and applied\, 
 are highly welcome. We particularly encourage PhD students and post-doctor
