- Description
- Abstract: The imaging of dynamic magnetic phenomena is essential for the understanding and the optimization of magnetic materials and device structures. Magnetic domain imaging provides the most direct access to the effective magnetic properties of materials from macro- down to nanoscale. An overview of magnetic investigations of magnetic thin film structures down to picosecond timescales will be given. Examples range from magnetic sensor structures, electric field induced domain wall rotation, all-optical induced magnetization reversal to skyrmion bubbles. A special emphasis will be on the visualization of magnetization dynamics including the imaging of spin-waves and magneto-optical multi-effect domain for obtaining dynamic magnetic vector response information.
