Description
Rooted connected chord diagrams can be used to index certain expansions in quantum field theory, solving a class of Dyson-Schwinger equations. I will discuss this with an emphasis on the enumerative, asymptotic, and bijective combinatorics. (Based on work with Nicolas Marie, Markus Hihn, Julien Courtiel, and Noam Zeilberger.)
