 at the German Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligen
 ce (ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig) will host the 7th International Autumn Schoo
 l on AI and Big Data  from 22 – 24 November 2021.  Due to the ongoing CO
 VID situation\, we continue our previous summer school program also this y
 ear as an online event. The school aims at graduate students\, Ph.D. stude
 nts\, researchers as well as practitioners starting or being active in the
  areas of Machine Learning\, Artificial Intelligence and/or Big Data. With
 in the online program\, we offer inspiring insights into various research 
 areas by internationally recognized and well known keynote speakers. Besid
 e some highlights from our center\, we also will have presentations by col
 leagues from the network of German AI competence centers.    Thematically\
 , we do not only focus on methods from AI and Big Data from the computer s
 cience perspective\, but also offer an alternative from the legal and soci
 al point of view on the influence of AI and Big Data methods not just on s
 cience\, but also on social processes.    A autumn school will provide opp
 ortunities to exchange ideas and to discuss the topics with other particip
 ants and speakers. Within our program we will offer plenty of time to get 
 in contact with the speakers and allow you to ask questions. Moreover on t
 he first day of the autumn school we will organize an online science get-t
 ogether. The idea is to also bring in social aspects\, in an online settin
 g. This way\, participants will be able to get to connect and partner with
  other international practitioners and researchers.
