ay of biomolecules in virtually all processes of life. The analysis of mol
ecular interactions is key for the discovery of new drugs and binding para
meters such as affinity\, avidity\, and kinetic rates are helpful to selec
t the most promising candidates during drug development. &amp\;#13\; I wil
l describe our attempts to develop new methods and devices to measure biom
olecular binding with surface biosensors\, single-cell biosensors\, and na
nopores for affinity-selective single molecule detection. I will highlight
applications concerning new drug modalities involving multi-specific smal
l molecules and antibodies\, and real-time binding measurements on living
 cancer cells.
