ials Scientists aims to bring together young scientists\, mainly PhD stude
nts\, working in the exciting fields of Materials Science\, Electronic Mat
 erials\, Quantum materials\, Nanoscale Materials\, Nanoanalysis\, Multi-sc
 ale materials characterization\, Computational material science\, AI-based
materials science as well as Microscopy. In 2026 the special focus wil
l be put on (i) all relevant techniques used for correlative materials cha
racterization\; (ii) electronic materials and quantum materials\, as well
as (iii) computational and AI-empowered material science. The contribution
s shall cover all topics from fundamental research up to technology and pr
oduct development for the market. The School will be a two days live fo
rum that brings together presentations of the PhD works (oral and posters)
\, intensive discussions\, and many opportunities for interaction and netw
orking. The School will be organized in close cooperation with the 6th
Correlative Materials Characterization workshop at Nov 25-26 and all young
scientists will be invited to attend the CMC.
