Description
About Christian Unger Dr. Christian Unger studies cellular reprogramming at the Centre for Stem Cell Biology in Sheffield. In 2003 he started to work on human ES cells, their genetic modification and hematopoietic differentiation at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. With the more recent discovery of induced pluripotency much of his time is devoted to analyse specific aspects of iPS cell generation. More recently he aims to use reprogrammed cells to model cancer development. iPS related publications 1) Na J, Plews J, Li J, Wongtrakoongate P, Tuuri T, Feki A, Andrews PW and Unger C.
