- Description
- The coherent dynamics of waves in lattices is a rich branch of research because of its fundamental phenomena and applications. Photonic lattices are discrete systems with spatial period, which correspondingly produce response to light in contrast to space continuous systems. In this talk, I will present some of our recent work from both research communities, focusing on Bloch oscillations and dipole oscillations of light in photonic lattices subject to graded potentials. The physical origination and extensions will be described. At last, some applications related to these will be mentioned.
