Description

The Joint Dresden-Japan Workshop on Molecular Scale and Organic Electronic Materials (JaDe 2012) brings together scientists from the Universities of Kobe and Osaka as well as from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba with scientists from several research institutions located in Dresden. The focus of the Workshop lies on nanoscale electronics in a broad sense, including molecular electronics, organic electronics, and biomolecular electronics. The Workshop provides a general and compact platform to further develop the synergy between the Japanese and the German partners, identify in a more precise way common research topics and intensify the exchange of scientific ideas. Moreover, the Workshop will offer to PhD students the possibility of presenting their research in an international frame as well as to explore the possibilities for further scientific exchanges between Japanese and Dresden scientists.
