- Description
- Requirements Engineering (RE) is essential to a software project. As the result of a RE process, software Requirement Specifications (SRS) should be consistent, correct and complete. However, the acquisition, specification and evolution of requirements from different stakeholders or sources usually lead to incomplete, ambiguous, and faulty requirements. This may become an incalculable risk for the whole project and a disaster for the final Software product. In this thesis we present ONTOREQ, an ontology-based method to identify and correct incomplete and inconsistent requirement information. Specific solution suggestions help to repair faulty requirements data. Furthermore, we guide the requirements engineer in improving the quality of the SRS and provide means to measure several quality attributes, e.g. verifiability or traceability. Additionally, ONTOREQ enables the semi-automatic configuration of requirements regarding a set of pre-selected configuration attributes (e.g. low risk, medium cost, high goal satisfaction, etc.) ensuring their consistency and quality. Finally, ontology-based process guidance supports the requirements engineer to accomplish Goal-oriented RE (GORE). This approach is applicable for ontology data in any domain. Therefore, we provide domain-independent guidelines. Diese Veranstaltung wird unterstützt von Lehrstuhl für Softwaretechnologie.
