Description
Genetic barcodes are used for stable expression-independent marking of cells. The short, uniform sequence allows the investigation of contributing clones and their kinetics in the reconstituting blood system. Beyond the feasibility of this system for clonal assessment, the analysis of the data is hampered by a high rate of descendent barcode-sequences which occur during processing of the samples. We are working on improvement of our barcode-system by understanding and decreasing the sources of errors or implementation of those into the analysis.
