\"Systems Biology of Cellular Regulation\" aims to combine new techniques
of determining molecular interactions with new ways of portraying cellula
r regulation. International experts will present latest developments in ge
nomic technologies such as mass-spectrometry based proteomics\, deep seque
ncing\, RNA interference\, and computational biology. Presentations will f
ocus on stem cell biology\, preclinical regenerative medicine\, the effect
s of cellular stress and statistical genetics. The meeting will therefore
be an update on the state of the art for those interested in developing in
novative therapies and personalized medicine. The BIOTEC Forum Startin
g in 2007\, the BIOTEC Forum has become an annual open meeting\, discussin
g hot topics in one or more of the research areas represented at the BIOTE
C Center. The format of the meeting is such that internationally renowned
speakers at the forefront of their respective research fields will present
and discuss recent scientific advances. The meeting is fully open to loca
l and external scientists\, with no conference fee being taken. Own contri
butions can be made within a postersession. A strong emphsis is also laid
on the integration of industrial contributions\, giving companies in the f
ield the opportunity to present their newest developments\, and to fosetr
collaborations and networking at an early stage of applied research.
