- Description
- We investigate the role of the Rashba spin-orbit coupling on the superconducting order parameter and the phase stiffness at the interface of LaAlO3 and SrTiO3. In particular, we analyze the gate controlled crossover between BCS superconductivity and Bose-Einstein condensation of Cooper pairs, amplified by the Rashba coupling and the possibility of a phase fluctuation induced quantum critical point.
