- Description
- The Higgs boson was discovered at the Large Hadron Collider and its mass has been measured quite accurately by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations. In this talk I will discuss the implications of the discovery of a Higgs boson with mass around 125 GeV for: the verification of the Standard Model (SM) of the Electroweak Interactions at the level of quantum corrections; the extrapolation of the SM up to Planck scale via the analysis of the vacuum stability; the search for physics beyond the SM.
