- Description
- For the 5th time, Stem Cell researchers from all over the world will convene for the International Conference on Stem Cell and Tissue Formation in Dresden, Germany. What has always set the conference in Dresden apart from other Stem Cell meetings world-wide is the strong foundation in developmental biology, the interdisciplinary scope, and the translational ambition, while at the same time still maintaining an intimate size that allows for ample direct interaction. As in the years before, the congress will combine symposia on general principles and mechanisms of stem biology with more topically focused subjects in the area of hematopoietic stem cells, neural stem cells and diabetes. A large number of excellent speakers has followed our invitation to this year's congress. In order to encourage scientists to reach beyond their own immediate research area and to facilitate interdisciplinary discussions we will have no parallel sessions this year but listen to all talks in the plenum. We especially invite doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows to present their work, either as a poster or, if selected from the abstracts, as short talk in the main program. You can find all information on this conference by visiting the . you can download the flyer.
