Description
Could a quantum computer (quantum annealer) solve optimization problems more efficiently than a classical computer? In this talk I will discuss this question using results of quantum Monte Carlo simulations running, of course, on a traditional (i.e. classical) computer, and also mention experimental results on a real quantum annealer with 512 qubits made by a company called D-Wave.
