- Description
- The BIOTEC Forum 2011 "Systems Biology of Cellular Regulation" aims to combine new techniques of determining molecular interactions with new ways of portraying cellular regulation. International experts will present latest developments in genomic technologies such as mass-spectrometry based proteomics, deep sequencing, RNA interference, and computational biology. Presentations will focus on stem cell biology, preclinical regenerative medicine, the effects of cellular stress and statistical genetics. The meeting will therefore be an update on the state of the art for those interested in developing innovative therapies and personalized medicine. The BIOTEC Forum Starting in 2007, the BIOTEC Forum has become an annual open meeting, discussing hot topics in one or more of the research areas represented at the BIOTEC Center. The format of the meeting is such that internationally renowned speakers at the forefront of their respective research fields will present and discuss recent scientific advances. The meeting is fully open to local and external scientists, with no conference fee being taken. Own contributions can be made within a postersession. A strong emphsis is also laid on the integration of industrial contributions, giving companies in the field the opportunity to present their newest developments, and to fosetr collaborations and networking at an early stage of applied research.
